Vancouver has been blessed with a warm, sunny early spring compared to the rest of Canada that’s still buried in snow. We happened across Heirloom Juice Co while C and I were taking a leisurely stroll around the Granville area to check out the furniture stores around the area to get inspiration for our future apartment. Heirloom Juice Co is a juice and smoothie bar incepted from the founders of nearby  Heirloom Vegetarian  restaurant. According to their website… Heirloom Juice Co was born out of the idea that you can create nutritious and convenient options for anyone wanting a healthy and delicious boost to their day. On Scout Magazine , Heirloom Juice was one of the anticipated placec to open in 2014 and we were more than happy to check it out after some shopping.  (C: The weather sure helped! Nice sunny days always makes me want to grab either a cold americano or some tasty cold pressed juice!). The kitchen/prep area is huge!  The back is very narrow and deep with a very small store front.  (C: In that regard, Heirloom Juice is kind of similar to Radicle Juice on Main Street. The space is pretty deep, but it’s narrow. Unlike The Juice Truck Cafe and Radicle Juice, which are designed more as a place to grab healthy drinks and mingle like a coffee shop, there’s a couple of bar seats by the window. Heirloom Juice is really more of a grab-and-go kind of juicing place. ). There are some power/protein snacks, cookies and premade juice in the cooler but other wise, nothing much.  It is nice that they offer samples of 2 of the juices they serve and demonstrate the size of the juice.
